I'm savio, a self-taught artist. This is a hobby of mine, and I draw as frequently as my adult free time lets me. My art specializes in cute cartoony-looking animals and creatures.

What's this site about?

This site is centered mostly about my art hobby. You will likely see my artworks there.

Why neocities?

I think I know enough to not rely on site builders so I decided to build my own site from scratch. I am also hoping to get better understanding of underlying building blocks of the web.

Commissions?

I appreciate your interests in commissioning me! Unfortunately, I don't do commissions, not publicly at least. Due to my fulltime job, my free time for art is limited. My job keeps me financially stable so I'd rather draw what I enjoy.

Recent news

I'm finally adding final touches to the Home page before release. It was quite exhausting work; I was changing concepts many times, and trying different approaches: grid, flex, 2 columns, 3 columns...
It ended with being 2 column layout, kind of similar to the theme I have on tumblr.

In the future I want to add more quirks, like this simple animation to the social buttons, and maybe enhance the theme. I am also planning on adding some pictures of my characters - pointing at certain elements, commenting on them, etc. I think it will spice up things a little.

Something I am slowly getting afraid of is the utter mess my code is becomming. All these CSS classes start to pile up and it starts to become very messy...

Anyway I am content with how it looks so far!
